Maybe a stupid question but id like to know how to switch my 1125 to a reverse shift pattern. I would like to get a quick shifter but from what I've read they work better with a reverse shift pattern, also that people who use a reverse shift pattern really prefer it. |

I have a reverse pattern on my M2 I have switched it back and forth a couple of times and I prefer the reverse pattern. Fact is I am one of the few around here who had a bike with a right side shifter and I feel that it is superior to the government mandated configuration. |

Do you have any pictures of how you mounted the pedal to the foot peg area? I'm assuming just drill and bolt? Should a stock foot leaver work too? From the cbr that is (Message edited by stensg on January 26, 2013) |

Just got done installing the GP shift from precision engineering. It seems to be well made but I don't like the fact that one end of the center link is not reverse threaded so you have to pull one end off to adjust the length. It also makes it harder to work the kick stand and I had to bend the shifting arm a little by hand for clearance.I did like the price.Make sure all of the bolts have lock tight.I missed one and it fell out but lucky for me was still hanging in there when I got pulled over.Rode back home in third and fixed it up.They shipped it out on time and everything was a s advertised. Is there any trick to getting used to GP shift?I have been a "1 down 4(or 5) up guy" all my life and it was kind of different.I did put a piece of painter's tape on the triple tree with"GP SHIFT!!!" on it.Thanks.
