I need to order a new tire soon. I am currently running Pirelli Diablo Corsa III's front and rear and love them.
I have run a Pilot road 2 on the rear and hated it.

Mainly running the bike in the canyons on the weekend.

I'm looking at the the Dunlop Q2's, the Michelin Pilot power 3's, and the Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa.
I am almost done the with the rear Diablo Corsa III, but the front looks great. I was thinking of getting a rear Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa, then when the front wears out switching the front and rear to Dunlop Q2's.

What do you guys think?
Has anyone run the pilot power 3's?

Ive ran through two sets of Q2's. They are great tires for the price. I've had the Corsa III as well, and I got more wear time with the Q2. I'll always go with the Q2

I really don't care for the Q2s on our bikes, even as I have liked them on other bikes.

The profile flattens out really bad on the rear tire and makes the bike require additional counter steer pressure once leaned over.

The 180/55 Q2 has a flatter profile than a 190 Michelin race slick on our 5.5" wheels!

I've been through lots of tires on various bikes, I'm happy with the Bridgestone 023 sport/touring for the street twisties. I'm not holding anybody up and I'm not getting any sliding and I've got tiny chicken stripes left. (also called maturity margins at this point in life)

Unless you are doing track days those high performance tires are a waste. You would be better off with the Pilot Pure or Road 3. You can even get the Road 2's for cheap. They only difference between the Road 2 and 3 are the wet traction grooves.

Bridgestone 016 pro or S20...The S20 is my first choice.

I ran the 023's and liked them, but when they get some hard miles on them (2000+), they do get a bit slippery, as do all "sport touring" designed tires I have tried (PR2, Roadsmart, 023, Conti Motion).

I did not like the Q2's at all, hard as a rock and the front cupped in 1500 miles. Have run 3 sets of the Rossa Corsa and they are fantastic, but 2500 miles is all they are worth, currently riding on the Rosso II, and they are awesome, should get 5,000 miles out of a set, grip is equal to the Rosso Corsa on the street, if you intend to do track days go with the Rosso Corsa.

I ride only at NOLA Motorsports track and like the Q2's. Great grip and they are predictable.

I've used al those tyres on the track and road, they're all good and I've got no where near their limits.
Currently using Pures on my Ducati 1198, and despite giving them a good spanking on the ukbeg Isle of Man 'holiday' and a day taking part in the Ramsey Sprint on the Island, they are wearing extremely well - and warm up as fast as any of the others.

Tyres are like oil, there's no bad stuff on sale these days.
