Hello Everyone- I have a 2009 1125CR with only 3,000 miles on it, just purchased a week ago. Obvioulsy not ridden much by prior owner. When I first started riding it, an ounce of coolant came of the water pump weep hole when the bike was started and warmed up. I checked the coolant overflow tank and it needed about 4 onces to fill which I did with matching HD coolant. Now it just leaks about 4-5 drops on a 50 mile ride. Could it go away or do I need to replace the seal. Hoping it will clear up or I will live with it until it is time for valve adjustment and spark plugs. Would hate to have to rotate the engine right now to fix this. Is there any kind of additive for the coolant that could help? thank you guys for your advice! Mort |

Monitor it, don't worry about it. When I purchased mine in May 2010, the weep hole had a little white trail coming out of it. I checked the coolant reservoir and was down about the same amount you noticed. Like you, HD coolant to the line. After two years worth of riding my 1125r, no issues with the coolant or the level changing since the top-off. Welcome to BadWeb! |

good luck. mine went south all at once on the way back from Indianapolis about 25 miles from home after a fuel stop. made 1700 miles on a 1725 mile trip. you could try a little of the liquid lube and sealant if you want but i have never tried this on a bike. tim |
