So, I am about to replace my clutch slave cylinder again. Going to try the EBR part. Question: since this looks like it might be a repeat operation, should I go to the later style clutch cover too. Al has them in stock and might just as well do it all at once. Thanks, Larry |

you won't be repeating the clutch slave install using EBR updated parts. is there some advantage to the new clutch cover? |

Bob, that's what I am hoping to find out. I have both 08 and 09 service manuals, so could compare, but neither one is here. So, we are going by my memory which is a risky proposition at best. |

If im not mistaken i think the newer ones holes for fluid to go through are slightly larger more fluid less friction less heat. But its such a negligible difference i dont think itd be worth the money |

Only real advantage is to the newer cover. The puck covering the clutch adjust is billet aluminum and actually provides some protection to the cover. The RevA cover has a plastic puck. Z |

I sent him a PM about it yesterday and he hasn't replied. Hopefully he will respond soon. I've been looking for one for some time and I don't need the entire $318 kit from American Sport Bike or the dealer. (Message edited by Noobuel on December 22, 2012) |

Thank you all. I will keep the money (for now) and maybe spend it on something important. Like beer. |
