If I only had to change the shock and forks, it would have only taken me an hour...BUT, I had to change the swing arm because my low side bent it just enough to rub on the rear sprocket. Anyways, all was going well until a torx bolt stripped. It just so happen to be the bolt that screws into the middle of the swingarm pivot bolt;( Poor design IMO. I tried an extractor..no luck. Out came the dremel. I cut a slot for a screwdriver but the hole i made with the extractor was too big. ARGGHH! Then it came it me! Cut 2 sides off the bolt so I can get a wrench on it..Voila...Victory is mine!! So a 1 hr job turned into an 8 hour journey into MacGuyverness. Enjoy the pics! Oops..I wish!! Will do you have a picture of how EBR mounted their damper to the frame? Congrats on the purchases!! I've been there with EBR and the customer service, have had great service and have had no contact service from them. |
