The hosting provider was having issues as a direct result due to the damage caused by Hurricane Sandy.

Now that the AMA SBK season is over the site had slowed to parade rest which is well below 5k rpms thus not enough oil was sprayed over the server and it fried.

But seriously, glad the site is back up and i hope that all those seriously effected by the storm make it through.

Duh--I didn't put two and two together about the hurricane potentially affecting the forum.

I figured there was a database crash and nobody had been making backups. (Someone IS making backups, right?)
