Pure speculation on all points... no one has really named what i would call a legit source. I will beleive it when i see it. rumors blah, blah , blah. i would expect at least a sneak preview by now if the rumors were true for a release by the end of the year. |

BMW S1000 Naked, Ducati 848 Multistada, Honda V4 Superbike, EBR's. Which will we see first (production bike)? We've seen images of all except for one. |

Well, if Ducati sold engines to Bimota I guess it's not too far-fetched to think EBR might do it too. |

A Bimota concept bike was designed around the 1125 motor - http://www.stayontheblack.com/concept-motorcycles/ oberdan-bezzi-1125-bimota-brawl-concept/ That's probably what they were referring to ... |

^ I bet you're right about the Bimota. Still, if EBR can build enough of these engines to have spares and sell them at a profit, I wonder if they'd be interested in doing it? |

Apparently not. While Badweb was down, I spent a lot of time surfing for other EBR info nuggets. I did find these pics from September when the Chinese investors were looking at EBR: http://www.flickr.com/photos/rcifpp/sets/72157631753784312/with/8080512532/ This photo appears to show Erik riding the race replica 1190RS that was seen at Barber:
The other interesting thing about these photos is they show another company that was present, DeltaHawk. They're a Wisconsin company that's building 2-stroke diesel engines for light aircraft. Man, if Erik and those guys get together my mind boggles at the possibilities... |

2-stroke diesel, eh? Hmmm... besides a two wheel contraption maybe a powered glider? |

Another recent article about EBR: http://www.siteselection.com/onlineInsider/foreign -financing.cfm This photo from the article is titled "Construction continued this summer on Erik Buell Racing’s facilities" and it says "photo courtesy of EBR", but that sure doesn't look like their site in East Troy.
