What's the purpose of the perforated clips on the back of the front brake pads? |

The thin perf SS bits? I'm honestly not sure. Not all pad brands have them. |

Yeah those perforated pieces. I just realized I forgot to put them on the new set of pads, and was wondering if I really needed to? |

For what it's worth, I don't run them, and never have except on the pad brands that come with them... I think EBC. The higher-end race pads don't have them. |

Interesting. All this time I've been swapping the shims over to whatever pad I've been running. |
