I've had 70 or so of all types and the 1125 is in my top 5 or so for overall enjoyment. Good piece. |

I've had probably 60+. My CR is the most wonderful bike I've ever been on. Now, if you told me I could only have 1 bike it's not the one I would pick as it's not functionally broad enough - but no bike has ever made me smile so much. |

I've had 15 or so different bikes. Wish I still had the Husqvarna 250 and the '48 Chief. The Uly and Loretta are all I need now. Never had ANY vehicle give so MANY grins as I get with Loretta and a twisty road. Z |

My XT and 1125R have all the bases covered. Sport touring and sport. Can't beat it. |

I regularly swap bikes on my rides with other people just for curiosities sake. I've ridden over 2 dozen HDs and nearly every configuration of rice rocket in just the last few months. Not one other bike even slightly said buy me. While I liked something about nearly all of them, there was something equally bad that was a dealbreaker for me. None of them were the whole package that the 1125r is. The most common comments I get from others is how comfortable the 1125 is(uly pegs) how good it sounds (keda rt1) and how smooth and early the power delivery is (ebr ecm). I did those 3 mods right when I bought it and nothing since. No need its now perfect. |

Over the years I've had about 70 bikes as well. I'd rank my favourites as: 1. Buell X1 (still own) 2. Guzzi Mk1 Le Mans 3. Buell 1125R (still own) 4. Ducati 1198 (still own) 5. Nourish/Weslake TriTon |

Have owned 10,it is hard to categorize, but for overall fun factor the 1125 is #1, then my 2007 XB12R track bike, followed by my 1989 H-D FXRD, Grand Touring Edition. (Message edited by mackja on September 11, 2012) |

I have had several. My favorite up until 1125 purchase was my Yamaha RD400 twin cylinder 2 stroke. It made crazy power passed 5000 rpms. The 1125 makes crazy power as soon as I crack the throttle, making it my new favorite. I know this is an odd comparison but it reminds me of the V65 Magna I had when I was 19. I was much lighter then and that bike made really good power across the rpm range. Not as much as the 1125 but similiar. |

My 1125R is my favorite bike--I've owned a dozen or so and currently own five. I like the v-twin's powerband (although I'd like a bit more power in the 5-8k range) for street and sport riding. Handling and braking are more than sufficient for backroad strafing, and it's moderately comfortable for slabbing it. I really enjoy my Speed Triple for around-town stuff and light-duty backroads stuff, but I could probably live without it. My VFR800 does everything well, but nothing fantastically, and it is a good "second" bike for stuff that I need a bit more comfort and a bit less performance than the 1125R. The only bike I've sold that I truly miss was my '98 Vmax. I want another one--or a Diavel. |

I have also had literally scores of machines. The 1125 is IMO so #2 |
