As the title says we have revised our 1125 axle sliders to include a lift slot on the rear sliders similar to the ones on our XB axle sliders. No price increase! $95 shipped (Cont US) for a front & rear set. No change in the quality that you've grown to expect from 5-0dro! Note that we will no longer offer the non-slotted variant for the 1125 after the few we currently have in stock are gone. We will offer those at $80 shipped (Cont US) while supplies last. PM me for details. We have the slotted axle sliders stocked in black anodized and natural finishes. Here's the product links on our site: 5-0dro black 1125 axle sliders 5-0dro natural 1125 axle sliders Pics will be updated soon on the site. If you place an order from here on out without contacting me otherwise, you will receive the slotted ones. Here's a few pics of the slotted ones for you (sorry...don't have any installed on the bike yet).

We haven't heard much from the 1125 folks out there about these. As always, we love to hear from you. What do you like/dislike about this design? Is this something you'd put on your bike? Why or why not? etc... Thanks! 5-0dro www.5-0dro.com (Message edited by 50dro on October 26, 2012) |

I own the knight desgins ones, and what I like about them is that they have the socket head bolt that screws thru the slider into the female threaded bar that runs thru the axle. I know they are tight and wont come off while on the track, looking at your design it looks like you screw the slider onto the all-thread bar. I wouldn't be confident that they were tight enough not to vibrate loose. I swap between 2 sets of rims regularly. So I thread locked(red) one side almost permentaly and the other side unscrews, when I change rims. I do like about yours is that there appears to be more material, and they are longer. |

Thanks guys! @Kruizen: It may not be evident by the pics that we posted here but our design employs a hole on the perimeter of the slider that is used to torque down the sliders (with a screwdriver or anything that you can fit and create torque with). We chose not to expose any hardware for fear that they would be ground down during a fall. We also include threadlocker to make sure they don't back out. You can review our installation instructions and video for more details if needed: http://www.5-0dro.com/index.php/Info/install-instr uctions @ Boogieman: have you been good this year? Thanks for the feedback! |

I find an allen wrench works very nicely These include loctite and the instructions are very specific about using it I have Zero worry about these coming loose, they are very easy to secure (Message edited by sprintst on October 26, 2012) |

I have to agree with Sprintst. I have zero worries of these coming loose. I have two sets one on my XB and the other on my 1125R. I have changed tires several times on both bikes and never had a issue. Hopefully I never have to test the durability of his products! Thanks again Dro! |

My old ones came loose because I was using them as the stand lift points. |

That's strange. Even though the old ones weren't spooled and weren't meant to be used that way, I can't think of a reason that this would cause them to loosen... |

I have the aluminum sliders from Dark Horse Moto(Keith) that Al now owns/sells. Very similar to these and I tested them a week after installing- Lo-sided on my way out of the HD shop's parking lot at about 30mph. Fronts never touched, rear right got chewed up. fixed on my lathe in a few minutes...
