My OEM has been hanging on the wall for 3 years now. Love my Drummer.
I have a tail-pipe extension for a car with rolled up screen in it that I slip on when working in the garage and running the bike. Knocks the sound down to almost stock levels so I don't PO my neighbors...

I love my Drummer too. I had Kevin make me a plug to quiet it down some. He is a super guy to deal with and makes it well worth the price. Super product from super people.

I have had the EBR race exhaust for a few weeks. I do not typically ride the CR in town but I've been next to a police car at a traffic signal and yesterday had a sheriff's car behind me at a long signal as well. No problems. It is loud and I try to take it easy getting in and out of the neighborhood. But here's the thing, the bike runs so well now. It's come alive. She can breathe. She's like Eric Liddell in "Chariots Of Fire" throwing her head back and running for the pleasure of it. Or as Forrest Gump said "this is whole other country." Right now I can live with the loud.

I had the same experience. With the Drummer Peggy sounds like hell coming to breakfast. It is also kind of cool how some people get out of your way when they hear you coming on the track

I didn't tell my wife about the exhaust. Put it on, walked it outside, closed the garage doors, started it up. My wife comes running out asking whats wrong with my bike! My daughter comes out with her and tells her that I got a new exhaust, the little rat.
I bought mine while working on the road.My shop is 80' from the house and the first time I went for a ride after I got home I got busted by my wife and kids.It was still easier to get forgiveness than to get permission.

Got my new FMF (full race) in the box... Can't wait to get it ceramic coated and installed (w/ EBR ECM)! Hoping for performance (smoother and more power), with some loud as added bonus! was a sewing machine before.
Just hope not to piss off my neighbors, so will try to keep the revs down early/late.
I love my Drummer! EBR did a custom map for me 2010 homecoming! I think you can still buy the ECM with the Drummer map, 138 to the rear wheel on EBR's dyno.
Nels - i'd better after harassing you all for them!
That's the plan. I'm going to also try and recreate AL's setup for audio comparison. How he did it for his shootout. Tough but hope to get it close for others to compare.
Got a screaming deal on this online. Sad to see they aren't making this exhaust anymore, but someone had a firesale and it was too good to pass up after drooling over them for so long. I hope for some more power obviously, but smoother low end and running cooler will be the more used improvements.
I know a couple folks who were disappointed with the power increase so trying to keep my expectation reasonable and hope for the best. Plenty of power for me, but smooth low revs and not cooking my legs in traffic will be nice. Losing over 10lbs (at least) should be noticeable as well. It all weighed in at 9.374 lbs (including bag of bolts and brackets). !!
