Thanks guys! It's a mother of a build but i will get there. The sportster front wheel on the ZX10R fork on the Buell frame with a custom triple was one of the big ones. So were the customs axles. And the underframe for the foot controls. Next big thing is the tank and the new subframe. Then on to the braking system from ISR and then finally the big bucks paint job..... Ouch i'm being ruined... |

Andros, this got me thinking - your forward controls, I would be interested in something similar, but just for footpegs for longer trips to stretch my legs a bit Could you post more pics/info on what youre doing with that please? Again, I am not looking to convert to forward controls, but would love some pegs out front for long slab rides thanks duder |

Hybrid - I have been thinking along those lines too. Not fond of the ones Palmer makes but the case savers from 5-0dro got me thinking. Shoot me a PM, maybe we can work something out. Zack |

Hey guys. I made my own highway pegs for a 7 state trip I did 3 years ago to the Grand Canyon. Mine are different in that I designed them to bolt directly to the engine cases because there is no lower frame. They worked great but I removed them because I was afraid they might damage the engine cases in a tip over. |

Hey Hybridmomentspass! check my post from October 11, 2012. There is a picture of the under-frame for the foot rests. |

The shortened rear shock is landing next week so i can get on with the project. Its been impossible to craft the new subframe and tank without seeing the stance of the bike. |

I'm thinking this is why Buell had to die. If somebody had bought Buell and mass produced something like this, it would have taken a big bite out of H-D's market. Very cool. |
