I need to replace the Nissin Race master cylinder that I have on the 1190RS because they are impossible to get parts for and you have to send them back to Japan to be rebuilt.
But I have not found anything that compares to the performance - Accossato, Brembo, Nissin Daytona - not, until now... I think.

Lee at Lemick racing sent me the Beringer BR14 off his race bike to demo. I put it on my street 1125R since I won't be on the track with the 1190RS for a while. I had upgraded to a Nissin Daytona 19X18 MC which was a big improvement over the stock 1125R MC.
It has transformed the braking on my bike. I have the 5mm fined rotor from EBR with race pads on the bike. This MC gives great stopping power, but with a very controllable feel. The Nissin has great power, but the initial bite is so hard, that you really have to be carefull.
The Beringer is more gentle at first, which for me instills confidence that I have the control to brake aggressively which, in the local canyons at least, only takes one finger.
I'm anxious to get it on the 1190RS, on the track to see if it lives up to my expectations.
Yes, it is expensive, but the quality is unmatched by anything I have seen.
If you are looking to upgrade your braking, I can highly recommend this for the street, and I believe the track as well. I'll post the track results in September when I run in WERA at AAA speedway.

It goes without saying that the RCS19 is a find MC. But it did not give me the same power and feel as the Nissen Race 19X18 and I'm pretty sure that I like the Beringer better than that. The combination of a 20mm piston with a 14mm pivot, seems to be a great union of power and feel. As said, I have not had it on the track yet, so we'll see.
I think Beringer compares more directly to the Brembo Billet MC or even the Brembo Moto GP MC at $680 and $2,600 respectively (I have never used either), as it is billet machined and uses ball bearings on all pivots for a very precise action.
Obviously the choice of MC feel is a personal thing, but if you are looking for a top end MC. It's worth considering.
One drawback is that there is no remote adjuster available. Not a factor for me.
I have no financial interest in this. Just thought you might be interested.
Expensive? Yes, but less than the Brembo Billet and the Brembo Moto GP, well....
I and many others have spent thousands of dollars to go faster on the track. My straight and corner speed is as fast as just about everyone I'm up against. So right now the best way for me to get faster, is to get slower... faster. That takes braking confidence. $500 is less than a set of tires.
