bought bike used and not a scratch so i dont think its ever been down, but my left grip is forward compared to the right. evident by my tucked position my right elbow contacts my knee and the left side doesnt. bike tracks straight with no pull when i let go of the bars. can i correct this or do i just have to get used to it?

Maybe your arms are different lengths?

Yeah, heard of Handel's Messiah, but not the bars...we have alot of them in Wisconsin however

Sorry to have fun at your expense...it's handlebars just so you know.

If it tracks straight, but the bars are cockeyed, you could have a bent bar. You should check the bars and tree closely. Just pop off the end plug off the bar and shine a light in - you'll know right away if it's bent. It's not real hard to bend a bar, but if one is, it's easy to replace.

good tip, i know parts can be replaced but there's not a mark anywhere, while riding and looking down the bar looks good but the tree actually looks like its turned to the right some. and do the bar ends just pop off? not sure how to remove

The bar ends are just pressed in. Screwdriver or padded pliers should do the trick. If the bars are straight, but the tree is "off" - that's kinda weird. I'd try loosening the tube clamps, top and bottom, and the axle - make sure trees are aligned and tubes are straight, retighten.

im too scared to loosen the trees, do i have to support the bike if i loosen them, and what if i mess up the alignment, there's no pull either way?

With the bike on the sidestand, put a jack under the muffler.
Pick it up till the front wheel floats - you'll be on a 3-point stand which is inherently stable. - oh yeah, back wheel, sidestand, jack...

Gently loosen/tighten the front-end.

: )

Only do this if it's the original exhaust, and in good condition !

I can do it with my Drummer... ; )

But you're right, if you have a muffler that would get squished, use a hard point on the frame like a peg mount.

I wouldn't want to try it on my CR, it's an original exhaust, but I've lost layers of rust ...

... and not even 3 years old, but I do ride all year round.

WELL I FIGURED IT OUT
after a closer look my left leg is one inch shorter than my right and left arm is 3/16 shorter than right.
Actually, the left bar is normal it's the right one that has a slight bend, theres a scratch on the right indicator , bar end, and grip. all are so hard to see they escaped my initial inspection.

for the fix, should i replace, rotate the bar for a better feel, or straighten with some type of pry bar from inside the bar?

Going to have the doctor fix the length of your legs and arms?
