I had my stator replaced last year under warranty and it has gone out again. I talked with customer service and they are going to replace the stator since it didn't even last a year. I wanted to know what the labor difference is to replace the rotor. I already gave the dealer the rotor and nut and said I would cover the additional labor to replace the rotor. I just want to make sure they don't screw me over since my history with them says they will. So if anyone here works at a dealer and can tell me what the labor hours for stator r&r and rotor r&r are I can at least have those facts. beugs |

2 hrs for a rotor R&R is what it cost me. |

So is your bike no longer under warranty? Right now I just had stator #3 go out in less than a year. It was replaced under warranty but it expired last fall. I called the dealership and they told me HD probably wouldn't warranty the part. If I can get them to replace the stator I will probably also get the rotor replaced with the modded EBR unit. |

Sparky, is that what book time is or just what they charged you? 1125cr, Bike is no longer under warranty. They are standing behind the stator, but I have to pay for the rotor r&r. That's why I'm hoping to find out what the labor difference is so I don't get screwed. |

Did you call HD customer service to arrange the replacement? After talking to my dealership it sounds like they're going to stick me with the bill! |

My neighbor who is a sales manager at a local dealership quoted me $340, but I can't recall if that was for both the stator and the rotor. |

I called customer service. I highly recommend you call them also, at least you might get a case started. |
