Author Message   2734 Posted on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 - 11:17 am:        I tore the plastics off my bike last night to investigate my purchase a little. I tried to download the service manual from the top of the page but I gues my PC is too old. It has been denioded,and has the K&N filter and it appears to have a stock ECM. I took a peek around and it appears that the valve covers have been off because the gaskets look pretty new and clean. I looked down the TBs and it's REALLY clean in there. More so than I expected on a bike with 24K on it.No oil on the vent filter either. No leaks other than brake fluid weeping from the clutch cover. Coolant looks nice and clean. I did how ever find this plug dangling down from the left side. I wouldnt think by looking at the pictures I can find there is much difference between the 2 systems. Even if I have to send it in for the proper flash I will be money saved over buying a new one.   Iamarchangel Posted on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 - 05:16 pm:        From the sounds of it, you'd probably benefit from actually buying a hard copy of the manual. They are invaluable if you are going to be doing all your own work.
