Hey guys I have a 09 R 16k miles with K&N fmf slip on and EBR specific race ECM. Lately I noticed some serious back fire. She runs awesome! but Im concerned that my fueling might be lean. How would I go about getting a cable and software to make some minor adjustments? Also how much cash am I getting into!? Thanks in advance! |

Use Tunerpro Rt for that bike. if you need special code added to do diag test and clear codes email me at Mike_Cobb@xoptiinside.com I am about to start adding more code to my ADX files to run diag settings, reset tps on the ddfi2 and clear codes. Then clear codes on the ddfi3 and diag test. Once I have them complete, I'll upload for everyone on the website... |

Mike I haven't been your biggest fan in the past, but I have to say Thank You. Gunter's reluctance at getting ECMSpy to work on DDFI3 was a "knife in the side" for all us early 1125 owners. My Loretta ran like a popcorn machine, for almost a year, on the early maps from Buell. ECMSpy could have helped but didn't. I got pretty crabby here about that. Anyway, that's all ANCIENT history. Thank You for your commitment in the last year or two. I even sent my little brother to your website for help on his 03 XB9R. I may contact you in the future if I decide to monkey with the Uly. Since I have access to a dyno anytime and funds are flush I'm gonna get the $500 programming kit from EBR for Loretta. She already has an early EBR ECM for open "intake/open exhaust". First I have to find out why she's only got 115HP... dyno'd a couple of weeks ago. cool day too, 75*F. 128 HP new/stock in 2008. Sorry for the diatribe, this is Big $hit to me... Again, Thank You Mike. Zack |

Tunerpro RT will read and write any ecm including those PCM tunable ecms? It actually has more usability than that software and connect to the ECM as well. Race ecms, tunable ecms and stock ecms. If you have a file that a ADX/XDF is not available it can be created for you and added to the database. Tunerpro also opens the .hex tuning files from the PCM software once converted. Just use an Intel hex editor to convert the files to bin. Then remove the first 256 byte character sets(which is not needed for the XDF to locate eeprom data properly.) Then any of the Tunes can be opened with Tunerpro RT and the correct XDF. then they can be edited or burnt to the ecms as long as firmware matches. If it does not match, I have a program that forces it to match by relocating the data by converting it to your firmware format. Then you can burn in the whole thing safely... Mike |

After playing around with Tunerpro, I'm curious as to how much benefit the EB R tuning software would have over Tunerpro. Since Tunerpro seems to have the ability to modify practically every ECM setting, the only benefit I could see the EB R tuning software having is ease of use. Those of you who have bought the EB R tuning software, how easy is it to use? Especially when compared to Tunerpro? |

Tunerpro is much easier than the PCM stuff from the Manufacturer... You have many pages and tabs to fumble through and you get quite a few base maps but no notes as to what they fit and good luck finding out what they fit... The video on setting up TP is processing now... once you go T-Pro you never look back... Its just way to easy IMO... |
