Hi is there anybody that has mount a Öhlins steering damper kit on a 1125r i have problems with fitment of the clamp on left forkleg anybody that has pictures of this kit on a bike |

Maybe not the best photos, but.... Photo on top: clamp on left tube (note to self, remove plastic brake line scratch pad from tube BEFORE mounting clamp) Photo on bottom: Right side - special bracket mounts at bottom of fairing stay, damper underneath, clamp above damper,

First thanks for very fast help guys Stirz007 can you move your handlebar from left to right all the way to the steering stops , and the clamp dont touching the frame or anything else ?? Regards Jossi Sweden |

Jossi - Yes. Adjust the tube clamp by rotating clockwise or counter clockwise so that the end of the damper rod almost touches the left inner pod when you are at full left steering lock. Snug up the tube clamp (not tight) and adjust the damper assembly to be roughly centered on the damper clamp. Turn full right to lock, then full left to lock and repeat until the damper rod does not interfere with anything. It will fit. Then tighten everything and check it again. |

Hi again Kruizen yes i have the EBR kit Stirz007 now it fits better i had to make some adjustments to the tube clamp |
