LFX18L1-BS12 Gotta have the "L1" in the part number for correct terminal (-) (+) orientation...they also build one with a "A1"...but the terminals are reversed 18AH battery with 220CCA...just got mine two weeks ago from racecrafters...it so small and light the mailman put it in the mailbox! see here: http://www.amazon.com/Lithium-Battery-LFX18L1-BS12 -Lightweight-Powerful/dp/B007B6VUHI |

Call them my buddy replaced on his CR, and they actually put him into a battery with more cells (capacity) than is standard, since these are smaller |

The dealer finder is also good there are two stocking dealers in my town. Apparently the big one that fits our bikes also fits some pwc so you may find one in town |

i know it's not the same, but i've got a ballistic 12-cell in my cr. it weighs just a hair under 2 pounds and fires the bike every time. very quick to charge also. i could have gotten away with the 8-cell, but decided to go with the 12 for a little extra insurance. weight savings alone is worth every penny. |

It's weird that the battery finder on the Shorai website is no longer working - everything was fine when I was nosing around earlier in the year ... |

just got off the phone with Shawn @ shorai. There is the above mentioned part which is physically smaller than the stock battery, and then the LFX21L6 which is the same size as the stock HD batt. do you have to shim in the smaller batteries with foam or something? ( you must, can't see it without) thanks |

Joe B- yes a bunch of assorted sizes come in the packaging- sticky stuff on the back - easy to cut with a pair of scissors...kinda like playing with legos |
