Been prepping my bike for a hard day in Europe tomorrow, getting the tools and spare belt all under the seat, doing usual checks etc, also replaced rear bearings (again) and this got me thinking. I need another bike for this sort of thing. Went done the bike shop, test rode a 2002 Fireblade, and had a good hard look at the RC8 but realistically that's out of my price range. Went home on my 'R' all in love again. It really just can't be beat.  | ||

sure is a gorgeous bike! i know how you feel about it though. i got to ride a friend's rc51 and it was nice. but i miss the character and feel and soul of my cr. good choice!!! | ||

I'm with you, that's why I have a VFR for that sort of thing.  I will say that it's tempting to take the 1125R on sport tours because it's belt drive and way more fun than a VFR! | ||

3 coutries, over 300 miles on some very minor B roads. Great day but it let me down again  Half way through the day it was missing and very down on power, think I've got another blocked injector. | ||
