Been prepping my bike for a hard day in Europe tomorrow, getting the tools and spare belt all under the seat, doing usual checks etc, also replaced rear bearings (again) and this got me thinking. I need another bike for this sort of thing. Went done the bike shop, test rode a 2002 Fireblade, and had a good hard look at the RC8 but realistically that's out of my price range. Went home on my 'R' all in love again. It really just can't be beat.

I'm with you, that's why I have a VFR for that sort of thing. I will say that it's tempting to take the 1125R on sport tours because it's belt drive and way more fun than a VFR! |

3 coutries, over 300 miles on some very minor B roads. Great day but it let me down again Half way through the day it was missing and very down on power, think I've got another blocked injector. |

I'll have to start putting the posh stuff in then, I'm also going to rig up a in-line filter. Watch this space |
