http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8MGIqWyVqLU gotta check valve lash and replace spark plugs. if you need to do this kind of work definitely take the frame off, just rotating the motor is not good enough!! three and a half hours of slow paced "this is my first time" work with a little bs time with my neighbor and i had a good day. tomorrow i think we will put everything back together just so long as i can get the shims. |

That was rather comical at that speed. You used a milk crate under the engine? |

@ Torquehd - i think it is because in the description i gave credit to the band. all my videos on youtube have copyrighted music in them but i always tell what the band and song name is. @ 1313 - Cheers |

I was okay with just rotating for valve lash inspection. Seemed more than adequate. But yeah, without anything around the motor you're free to poke and probe anywhere! LOL! |

At 12.5k I had to replace some/most shims. I dropped the first one and it hid inside the motor. 3 days later, I put it on the floor.
Next time, I'll take the frame off. Z |

There were a couple of times I thought a shim dropped into the bowels of the cam drive mechanism. But I tried very hard to be careful and move slowly. If I felt the shim slipping from my fingers I slowly get them out and reset their position. That magnetic rod and a flashlight helped immensely. Without those two devices it would have been a nightmare. |

Sucks you have your youtube settings so your video can't be viewed on a mobile device. |

9 out of 10 times that is because the copyright holder of the background music prohibited it. Great video! |

Great video! i believe Froggy is correct. i just tried to allow it (again) to be viewed on mobile devices and the option is no longer available to me. it looks better on a big screen anyway!! |
