Looking to replace my factory mirrors and wire my signals into my daytime running lights. I'm looking for some skinny post mirrors that would fit our bike. Any suggestions? |

I replaced my OEM mirrors with late-model-Firebolt mirrors. I love them.

another member posted these from Ebay - http://www.ebay.com/itm/130389515012?ssPageName=ST RK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 they're "budget" - not as nice an Zack's (his are OEM mirrors) I installed a set - they're light which means they stay put at speed - but still vibrate some - the wiring is small gauge but will work with the 1125's electrical system...I like them because the pivot hardware holds them in place once tightened down. ( the stock mirrors move too much for me even after modifying them with a bolt and nut - I believe they're just too heavy and are "out there" in the air stream) a) you'll need longer mounting hardware ( 6mm x 30mm hex head bolts) b) a little dremel work on the mirror's mount to get the wiring to clear the mounting bolts and pass into the fairing |

I like them mirrors. The studs come out so you can replace them? The gap between the studs the same? |

Monsieur Leblanc... Yes the studs are removable bolts - I found some 6mm x 30mm long hex head bolts at Home depot - the correct length Yes the spacing between the studs are adjustable...but you'll need to remove material (its' nylon) or drill a hole ( 3/16" dia) to pass the wire thru for the turn signals ...if you do not the mounting bolts interfere with the wires as you try to pass it thru the fairing - good luck |

How's the vibrations? I can't even see anything in my stock mirrors. I was shocked riding a XB9 firebolt the other day, the mirrors were clear! How about the reach? I also only get elbows, unless I lift an arm |

Ride cross armed no elbows in the way Use some black silicone around the mirrors gets rid of 25% to 50% of the vibrations make sure they are set where you want them. |

Nuts - those look nice, the whole mirror head moves too - I like that. The Firebolt mirrors are like that, I move mine for sitting up or full-tuck, the OEMs wouldn't adjust that far. If you get Firebolt mirrors, make sure they are late model ones. The first year or two the stems were too short. I can see behind me without moving my elbows and it's pretty clear too. Mirrors are useless if you can't ID a cop a few car lengths back... Marker lights have been my front signals for at least 3 years now, no problems. Z |

I too took the firebolt mirror route. 2 new ones from American Sport Bike were cheaper than 1 new 1125R mirror. Seem to be more durable too. Wired my signals into the running lights but have been too lazy to wire in the resistors to get rid of the "fast blink". |
