I have just come across this ://www.buell-parts.com/shop/index.php?a=2969&lang=eng Which as you can see is the rear end/monocoque for the Typhon 1190, since seeing the original photos of the bike I knew it was a mod that needing doing, was wondering if any of you out there have already done it? If so what was the install like? Any photos? Cheers. |

That is just the tank and seat unit body ( IIRC it's one piece ). You will either have to make your own subframe, source one from EBR, or wait like I am for the rails to become available. From the last email I had from them it looks like the frame won't be available before mid May. The undertray etc I'm hoping to be able to fabricate myself ... |

makes you wonder how active the Germans/Austrians have been with these designs. |

Thx for the info Sportster, It did say on their website that the subframe rails would be out in Jan 2012, I will email them and see if I can get any more info. Is this rear end the same as the 1190rs? If so would EBR offer the parts? |

Dannybuell, if you get the chance, go to the Buell Pegasus Experience in Oberschleben with the Pegasus Race Team. You won't have to wonder anymore. You will end up coming away from there with more ideas than you know what to do with and having met some of the nicest people in the world. Or you can see a glimpse by looking here http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/681 7/651439.html?1316542791 |
