I have seen tank bags on 1125s mounted with straps. What do you mount the single strap after you remove the seat? On a tuber it ties to a tube but I can no see anything there on the 1125? |

I used the 2 stand-off supports molded into the front of the seat and used a piece of steel rod pressed in behind these 2 stand-offs to loop and secure the single strap to , can get you pics later if you need to see .... |

The Buell OEM tank bags mount to the two lower screws that hold the airbox cover on. The front straps mount to the front airbox screws. |

Yup. 4-point mounting is the way to go with straps. Anything less and the bag moves around. I found that out the hard way while riding with a crosswind. |

If the single strap is one long strap, there is a crossbar in the subframe where the seat tab fits into that can provide a place for the strap to wind around and loop back to the clip that attaches to the tank bag. |

I put the strap through a strap attached at both ends to the screws that hold the tank cover. Worked great. Thanks for your help. |
