After a little over 2 years of very enjoyable ownership the Buell and I have parted company. The new owner will (I am sure) post up on here in the near future and I'm sure you'll make him feel as welcome as I did. I've replaced the bike (today) with something completely different, I bought a Victory Vegas 8 Ball LOL.. well, I couldn't NOT have an American bike in the garage after all.. Good luck with your Buell's guys, not that you need luck, I still think they are awesome machines and I know I'm going to miss mine. |

£4100 (around $6500) which is a fair price (I think), certainly I was happy with that and I believe the buyer is too. There were others on ebay around that price but there weren't any better ones! |

Really... no need to leave! I traded in my 1125R last Fall but decided I'd continue to inflict my personality here on BadWeb anyway... |

That's cool I will probably stick around, who knows, when they pay next years bonus I may buy a CR LOL.. Besides that, having spent some time on the Intruder forum I have to say this one is better for the interaction :-) |

I'm getting on really well with the new bike and it seems to attract a lot more attention when I park it up (not always a positive thing). Fuel economy is better than the Buell, but witht he much lower performance I guess that's to be expected (and a bonus). I've put a fair few miles on it since buying it. My mum became ill suddenly the day after my last post and unfortunately she passed away 2 days later. The Victory got me to her bedside a lot faster than I'd expected! It's actually not that bad. It handles well for a cruiser, it's reasonably rapid, will cruise at 100 MPH for longer than my neck muscles can last and sounds fabulous with the Victory Performance Pipes. It's only the 100 c.i. motor (a year too old for the 106) but with the stage 1 it puts out somewhere around 95 HP and 110 lb/ft which is respectable. I've not had a lot of time to start any real customising but I did just fit much smaller indicators and my new "US Style" licence plate just arrived (a fetching Black with Cream Letters) and about 1/2 the size of the UK one! I don't miss the Buell.... I have to say that (and keep repeating it) in the hope that one day I'll believe it. TBH if I'd known what was going to happen I'd have hung on to the Buell too.. life is too short not to just do whatever takes your fancy at the time!
