"Well...you started it! We're just "enablers"." The implication and accuracy of that statement is truly frightening. |

OK... So Aussie Dave is gonna deliver the bike to the EBR team at Homestead. They will take the bike back to the factory and the guys will go through the motor. Once repaired, EBR will bring the bike back to Road Atlanta and we are going to try to run there. Thanks for all your words of encouragement and support... I think. Once more into the breech... Exhaust valve right? My 1125r did the exact same thing a couple years back on the street...blew the valve seat out, the entire valve, went through the piston, and destroyed the bottom end...oh and i still drove it about 2-3miles home after that lol http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/476397.html?1247286277 you guys are a real inspirationg, great things coming your way for sure! "They will take the bike back to the factory and the guys will go through the motor." This is why I want this company to succeed. What other factory would offer this level of support to a privateer team? |

Just to be clear, I will have to pay for this, but I have been assured that there will be the appropriate privateer discount. That they are willing to transport the bike and fit it into an already crazy schedule is awesome as far as I am concerned. Oh and I meant Road Atlanta, not Road America. |

I don't know. Early on around 20K was mentioned as a ballpark, but no specifics were discussed so that could be way off at this point. I should and will find out. |

I think EBR wants to see what failed and why. What about the 1125? Keep us posted Rob. Are they taking pics? I wonder what happened to the valve seat. It not visible in the picture I couldnt feel it when I felt for it when Tim dropped the header. |

No need for refunds, It was not your fault he didn't make the race and I hope you can continue to do what you are doing. We all want a true privateer to get behind because that's what EBuellR is all about. You giving Shawn the opportunity to put your 1190rs on the track is just gets us excited. You got the bike and the rider, tell us how we can support your effort and its on. I will send another $50 out of this weeks paycheck and if there's any chance you would be at Mid-Ohio I would be there in full support as well. Keep you head up, you are the man! |

Dave Rob Needs a some larger or a greater # of sponsors I dont think they made any money I m not sure but Privatteers seldom make money. They spend Racing is Expensive. Now if you could sell some more books at $3900.00 each and say sell about 1000 you could have the start of a AMA team support |

Not saying he turned a profit, I know better, just hoping the purse money was not too bad. He got more than he would have if he had finished last! |

Rob, when Tim and I put the 1190 back together we just snugged everything. The forks, front wheel, brakes axles ETC. will all need tightened. Also remember the rear shock bolt that got dropped onto the top of the motor. The rearsets and exhaust aren't tight either but that will be covered when they R&R the motor. Better luck at the next race and I'll see if I can donate shortly. |

Rob, glad to have helped out for sure and thanks for the opportunity.....an awesome crew of enthusiasts there. I learned a lot about what it takes to do the 200 which may come in handy in the future Can't say enough about Shawn and his riding skills either. It is awesome to have a rider you know he is going to give it 110% when the green flag drops (or lights go out in this case). Having done a few AMA rounds on the relatively cheap single XR1200 (about $4000 a weekend if it is local), I have a huge amount of empathy for your program running a superbike and daytona sportbike. You did a great job, as well as everyone else on the team. Your dedication to the sport is beyond reproach. Best of luck the rest of the season and i am happy to help out anyway i can. Tim, sorry i didn't get a chance to say bye before i left....great working with you and i look forward to seeing you at the races! WFO |

Another way to help Shawn, Rob, and Crotchrocket.tv is to purchase a battery from their sponsor "Shorai". I just did and followed it up with a note to customer service letting them know it is in support of the team. Add your order number to your message so they can verify what their sponsorship got them! |
