I know this has been done before, but can't find the thread in search.
When in stalling the EBR race triple, how much of the fork tube is exposed above with the forks in the stock position?
I need to order some clip-ons to go with this and was looking at the Apex 3" adjustable units. Today, I was eyeing up the new triple and noticed it's about 3/4" thinner material than stock. Got me thinking it may be possible to put the clip-ons above the triple.
Just wanted to check before pulling the trigger on some more new parts. Thanks.

best would be to measure the difference with both in hand.

But that would entail taking the stocker off the bike and I really didn't want to get to that point twice. It's a bit of an effort to get the workspace ready.

Can't give you measurements at the moment, but the tube is indexed off the bottom of the triple in my case....

Before - stock triple:

After - EBR triple:

Basically, the difference in triple thickness is the difference in height (exposed length) above the triple.

Or - you could mark the tube at the bottom triple and match it back up when you reinstall. That way suspension won't change.

Brembo's RCS-19's.

How do the 19's affect action? I think
the originals are 14's (?)

There is about 20mm of leg exposed above
the clamp. I have clip-on's on top, (legs at
stock height) and they are quite secure, but
the stock masters don't allow enough lever rotation.
So thinking of other masters...

The RCS19 MCs are nice upgrades. The allow an adjustable range of feel for the brake and clutch.

Once the brake is hot, the mushiness of the stock MC is gone in the Brembo.

And, bleeding the top is way easier!
