How are the rewound stators holding up? I haven't seen any new posts about them. |

I've heard of a shop called "Rick's" for this? Is that your source for this task? I don't know that my VR was bad, but the stator was burned on 2 winds. I was able to keep the stator and VR, heard of a local business that may be able to help here. Did you ask for any changes on the rewind like larger gage wire or a different number of winds? |

I had a Ricky Stator rewind for the kids KX-60. Great people to work with, part worked great. They have about the coolest sticker ever also...

What's the most miles someone has gotten from a rewound stator? I know I've read a few people have gotten over 15k on the stock 09 stator, must be a few good ones out there. |

My rewind is holding up fine - so much so that the 08 stator/rotor I bought "just in case" is still sat in a box in the garage. Haven't put that many miles on the bike though (around 4000) as it's number 3 in the fleet and I don't want to get it dirty in the winter (LOL) so my chop is taking the brunt.. |
