Hello and greetings from germany. Excuse me for my english, i hope i'll be good enough to describe my little problem. Last year i bought a 2008 1125R. Until now i already made some little modifications. Now, in one of the last steps, i want to replace or modify my stock exhaust. Here in germany i need a road legal exhaust. But these are quite expensive. Today i read something about a little stock exhaust modification like this. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show .cgi?tpc=290431&post=1820925#POST1820925 I like that way because i do not have to modify the stock one for this. If we do this in germany, it isn't road legal any more. Are there some more types of these tips? Now my question is: without building some kind of muffler tip by myself, is there any address where i could by something like that and ship it to germany? I hope you can help me out of my problem. Thanks in advance and have a nice day |

send albert666 a message, he makes them and is in the UK so shipping could be cheaper for you. http://www.aph-performance-engineering.com/buell_1 125_exhaust_ans_buell_xb_exhaust.html I have them and love them! dont't remember how much they were off the top of my head. Jake |

I got a pair from Albert666 as well. They fit perfectly. I had them ceramic coated to match my headers. They look nice and keep the exhaust off the rear wheel. |

I bought a 90 deg aluminum mandrel bend and chopped it into 2 45's. Inside diameter was a little tight so I expanded it with one of those cheap flange expanders. Shorten/trim the end to flush up to the muffler casing and then add a little high temp RTV to hold them in place. The aluminum is easy to saw and file and the finished product doesn't look out of place once you scuff it with some emory cloth. |

I'm looking forward to see them. Some people got their new tips welded on their exhaust like this If Albert's are fixed correctly, i don't see any advantage when they're welded. Cheers |
