read about it here - http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/racing/willow-spri ngs-motorcycle-club-closes-racing-league/ I'm sick to my stomach. Everything I've been working toward just got pulled out from under me. Not to mention the entire family of WSMC racers. Now what... I guess WERA or AFM. F@#$!!! |

Plan, Focus, Execute! AFM@Bwillow = 3/17-3/18 CVMA@Cwalla:3/10-3/11 (March could be a busy month for you!), 4/21-4/22, 5/26-5/27, 9/22-9/23, 10/20-10/21, 11/10-11/11 you are very fortunate to live here in SoCal with the great weather - growing up racing back east at Nelson Ledges - we had rain and rain dates - it taught me to be flexible with my plans...moving to the west coast in the 70s - we had the BLM to contend with in the Desert...again I learned to be flexible...in all the years I've been in manufacturing operations you always need to have a plan "B" if you want to be successful - don't give up due to this one speed bump ...if life was easy, I'd have a head full of hair! Chuckwalla is 4 weeks away...what are your plans? |

WERA West. Chuckwalla is 45 min from the closest ER. As someone who has been in ICU 2 times in the past decade, this makes a difference. Will have to miss WERA Vegas next weekend but will try and hit the reast of their season. |

WSMCRA - Willow Springs MotorCycle Racing Association I just bought all the domain name and will be setting up an LLC. The track is just the track. It's the people, the tradition, the passion. I envision a racer owned and run organization. If there is enough interest. It will happen. But first I've got the get the Crotchrocket/Higbee team to Daytona. |

Keep at it Rob. I'll keep sending y'all a little bit when I can. Got laid off yesterday but tomorrow I start doing some contract work for NRHS. They are about a mile from my house and I'll be working on Buells and Sportys!! I start off honing cylinders for 1250 kits. Hope it lasts a while, I really like Dan and Cille and y'all know how much I love Buells. Zack |

"But first I've got the get the Crotchrocket/Higbee team to Daytona." How is this working out for you? What would it take make this happen? |

[quote]How is this working out for you? What would it take make this happen?/quote] A fat Sponsor Daytona is a long haul (probably $5K in non-racing expenses JUST for the trip for mileage alone) and if Shawn does the 200 miler (on an 1125R) - it'll be some bucks. We all have to figure out how we can make this happen. Crotchrocket.tv is writing the checks but I imagine that Rob is really needing a solid sponsor. |
