Tried starting my R last month after the battery went down to about 70%. I thought that would sill be enough to get it to kick over but no luck. To make things worse I think I flooded it. Its about 60 in Ohio now and I kinda want to go for a ride any ideas? |

charge the battery... do the plug self clean... This is achieved by opening the throttle to wide open, setting the Run/Stop switch to Run then, turning the ignition switch ON. This will fire the spark plugs for approximately 4 seconds, burning any fuel left over in the combustion chamber. It may be necessary to repeat this procedure several times to allow a severely flooded engine to start. NOTE: Motorcycle should be in Neutral. |

And fuel injected bikes hate low voltage and will not run well on it,may have been part ofthe problem. |

It was the battery was up to 100% and dropped to 35% after a few tries at starting it. Sucks that its less than a year old. |
