Anyone living in the Cincinnati area know of any decent Buell dealers? I just called a local dealer and they declined a job because they didn't have the right tools AND the a service manual...and they call themselves a Buell service center?!? I called to get a qoute on how much to install the EBR stator and they said they wouldn't do it. |

Do a favor for people in your region, and post the name of that dealer that doesn't want to service Buell products. Doing this will spare people from wasting time and effort with them. |

Timebandit, I thought about posting the name of the dealer right away but wasn't sure what the etiquette was on this forum for that. Other sites I've been to say not to do that. That said, for anyone in Cincinnati, Tri-County Harley does not install EBR stators or presumably any Buell job since they don't even have a service manual for an 1125. scout, Thanks for the rec. I actually bought my CR from F&S and probably will never ever go back there. The advertised price of my bike and the price they sprung on me at checkout was $250 more. The owner was over the top arrogant and carefree about it, never going back. |

I understand your etiquette concerns and I agree with them. In this case I think its OK to mention the dealer, because you're not griping about them, you're just telling people that they don't want to service any 1125. That's something that's good to know. |

Nothing wrong with posting the name of a dealer where you had a bad experience. This is America, you have the right to speak your mind. If they want your business they will have to earn it. You are the one giving Them money, they work for you. I never understood why that holier than thou mentality eeked its way into the service/retail industry. I've seen it in HD dealers, metric dealers, music shops, sporting goods stores. I get a whiff of pompous arrogance when I walk in, I tell them what I think and walk out. Doesn't hurt my feelings and I'm sure it doesn't hurt theirs. |
