Saw one of the first motorcycles with...both fuel and oil in the frame today. A 1912 Pierce. All original and it runs. The owner ran it thru the 1/8 mile (drag strip)....24mph at a wopping 23 seconds. The fuel is in the front down tube and the back-bone. The oil tank is the rear (under the seat) down tube. It also has a belt drive (toothless). "Everything old, is new again". Mike |

That's awesome! Very cool for someone to not only have an old bike like that but to ride it! |

Very much like the red one on the page below. But...in its natural state of OLD red...if you know what I mean (unrestored) on the outside. It did have new Coker white tires on it though, just like the one in the picture...! http://www.pierce-arrow.org/history/hist7.php Mike |
