Had a hard time choosing between red and black when I bought my CR, went with the red for a change, find that I'm really a black man. Had already painted new pod covers to match the frame, thinking about wrapping the rest of the bodywork in black vinyl. I'm pretty old (school), how is this new stuff? Could I form it snug over the Buell sticker on the airbox cover? |

Shame you're not closer, I'm bored with Black now and want to change to Red... mine's pristine condition too... |

Thought about that, new parts cheap enough and can store the red parts for the next owner (50 years from now). Just ordered new black pieces from my local dealer, asked him to do a package deal, was close enough $$ to what I heard from others and no shipping so kept it local. Fender, flyscreen, tank cover and main body $480. Already had new pod covers I had sprayed matte black to blend with the frame. |
