does this screen come off? if it does, how?? I read this gets a lot of junk in it.

Just gently pry it down. The round part has a tube that goes up into the engine with a seal on it... |

I've dropped mine twice in 7500 miles, perfectly clean both times. And I use the rev-limiter a bit. |

I managed to grab mine with some long nose pliers. IIRC there's a plastic tab up the tube. Mine has never had any debris on it. Be VERY careful torquing up the cover bolts. |

THAT WORKED PERFECTLY XTREME - 90 INCH pounds of torque (by the book) Crowley is not much. Another good call. Thanks. Mine was perfectly clean and I've wound her out good this summer - by my standards anyhow. |
