-Early 2010: Harness "upgrade" performed when the letter was sent out. -Early 2011: Stator replaced due to low output. -Now: Bike in shop again for stator replacement. My factory warranty expired 10/16/11. Can anyone tell me what the terms of the parts warranty are for the third stator? | ||

I believe your warranty on the stator that just failed should have been extended by the amount of time that the bike was in the shop for said repair. As far as the new part warranty, it should be covered for X amount of days as long as you take the bike back to them to fix it or make adjustments. Ask the Service Dept for how many days X would be. | ||

I would ask Customer service at H-D to extend your warrantee on the charging system by 6 months they may do it as it is an obvious problem | ||

Doesn't the replacement part come with a standard 1 year part warranty? | ||

No.. Mine did BUT only because it was a custome rewind. HD will give you a 30 day one.. |
