I noticed this past weekend I have a hesitation when I push the starter button..maybe a second to 2 seconds max. then it started up. The bike was at approx. 12.5 v when I had turned it off a few minutes prior. This happened twice that day. Bike seems to be charging ok..anywhere between 14v and 12.5 depending on speed, and it has the harness upgrade.

This is the original battery and is almost exactly two years old.

When my xb9s did this a while back I replaced the battery, that battery actually bench tested at HD ok but the digital clock kept resetting so I knew that it was probably on its way out.

But on my 1125R so far I do not have any clock resets.

I'm usually pretty good about keeping it on a tender but it has been drained at least once..maybe twice.

I'm trying to figure out if I should bite the bullet and replace it now or let it go a while longer until it dies.

With your bike's configuration, you probably have to keep in mind that if the outside temperature is warm to hot, both fans are likely to be running which will result in lower battery voltages while riding at lower speeds like around town. The result would likely be the battery icon showing at idle and going out when getting underway again.

But it sounds like it's on its last legs. If it were me, I'd make sure it's on a batt tender at nights just to help keep the battery from self-discharging and to be as fully charged as possible. So, I'd hold off on getting a new batt until that first time it fails to start. May not be the best advice, but that's what I'd do.
