Mine just went out. 2009 1125R 8000 miles It should still be under warranty. Should I ask the dealer to put an 08 in my 09? Please advise. |

Are there any dealers that might offer a discount on the '08 stator/rotor when purchased outright? I am going to ask my dealer if they would consider it. 10-15% of $1500 starts to get into real money. :-) |

I read a document from HD/Buell to my dealer stating that they will not change to 08 parts under warranty. For the very few cases where this may have occurred maybe the dealer felt sorry for the Buell owner and just ate the costs. |

Yugi, Pretty good tip man! According to their site, that would save $ 280 over list price! I'll give my dealer a chance to help me first. |
