...what's the highest you think I could ask? I was toying with something a little over trade-in value. It's a stock '09, except for an upgrade to Race Tech .95kg springs in the shocks (the original springs will go to the buyer). ~3100 mi. on the odo. She has the harness upgrade since my new purchase and the speedo sensor/cable were replaced under warranty. The bike remains under warranty through Nov. 2011. Your help is appreciated. |

Well idk if you folks are trying to low ball him so you can buy it, but Ebaymotor prices are currently more like $7,000, and have been there for months. I would think about $6k should move it pretty quick |

Yeah prices seem to be rising from what they were last year...I got my 08 w/1800 miles back in October for $5500. But now the same dealershipnis asking over $7k for ones with more miles. |

Thanks for the feedback. I've been offered $4500 for a trade and would be really happy if I could get more like $6k for it. If any of y'all know someone interested, I would sell for 6K or a reasonable offer. Maybe I'll put it on Craigslist for that and see what comes of it. Once again, Thanks. |

My '08 with 10k, white body work, and some very nice street extras sold for $5600. My '09 with track and street package sold for about the same. Both sold quickly -- within a couple of weeks or so. So, I think for a quick move, that's the going rate. |

I've never had any luck with Craigslist. Some jerk(s) would flag my motorcycle classified within hours of it being posted. |

The only way I'd use craigslist is to meet in a public place. Not in my garage. Prying eyes can become thieving eyes! |

I bought my 09, with 5800 miles, K&N, HMF, PC 5 with Auto Tune, a bran new set of 2CTs and all recalls complete, at the beginning of the year,in SoCal, for 5K. And as the transaction was taking place, the check engine light came on. Even though the bike was (and still is) under warranty, he gave me a 100 bucks back. So the question should be, how fast do you REALLY want to sell it? |

Bad time to be selling a motorcycle... Great time to be buying a motorcycle! But the problem is most of the buyers, at this time of year, know most of the sellers know that it's a bad time to sell, which means that the buyers know the sellers are highly motivated, and probably can be lowballed badly. I think I've purchased all of my motorcycles during winter months, and have been very happy with what I paid for all of them! |

Keep in mind it's not relevant what people are asking for them, only what they are getting for them. For those asking $7000, ask how many actually sold for that price. I would say maybe list for $6000, expect $5,500. If you want a fast sale, I would say $4500 to $5000. |

I have my 08 for sale...asking $5800. Not really seeing much interest. Sad, because it is an awesome machine. That is a heck of a lot of performance for <$6k! ac |
