There was a picture posted in one of the threads that showed braided oil lines between the motor and the oil cooler. I though it was a really nice clean look. I have heard from other motorcycle brand owners that different oil lines can assist with keeping the oil cooler. The two biggest advantages I could see would be maybe larger diameter and no right angles for the oil to negotiate. Would the original poster share where they got the lines and if they see a difference: stator issues, cooler motor?? Thanks -Eric |

You'd have to have lab grade equipment to see the advantage presented by that. Now if you put a second cooler in line that could help but you may have trouble keeping oil hot enough in the winter months. Once the temps drop to the 60's here the water temps stay sub 170 and oil is supposed to be kept @ or over 180 for optimum performance from what I've read. |
