Bought a $1 level and cut it to extract the actual level
and rest it on the engine
The engine isnt actually level there but if you mark your stick you will at least get the same measurement every time. I actually run between full and overfull line so this works perfect. Just thought Id share. |

Great idea! I was thinking of putting mine up on the rear stand every time to check, but forward cant probably would make it show low... This may be easier. |

lol, somewhere i have one of those laying around already already busted out of a level, that im sure ended up that way because i got pissed and beat something with it... good thinking. |

When you are balancing the bike for the "upright/vertical" check, the front wheel must be straight, right? |

I wonder why they don't just make it where you fill it until it overflows, and just cap it. They could engineer it to work on it's sidestand even. 100% consistancy, just fill it till it runs over, and cap it. No more dipstick |

Not a bad idea, but instead of busting a level, just buy a string level which will do the same thing and even better. They are cheap also! Like the idea though! |
