I have had many pm,s re 1125 charging. I am a retired class A auto mechanic and these are my thoughts on charging problems.I think you should run your oil a little under the overfull line hot, these engines are well vented and it will not damage them.At least 3 RR,s in these posts are much better than stock.Epoxy coating of 1125 stators traps heat. 09 and 10 stators are all going to fail in street use due to heat. 08 stators work if your power demands are in line with it,s output. My RM Stator rewind is working well(see past posts) but I do almost no stop and go. I have a used stator cover that I have added a small oil line(from mechanical oil pressure gauge) into the crank bushing.A modified used oil cooler line sends part of the return oil to the bushing.I filed a very small grove in the bushing to let the extra oil bleed out onto the crankshaft. It is my hope that this extra oil being slung out by the crank will cool a stock stator (may have to add a small slinger behind rotor nut)and end the overheating. When I get time I will add a window in to the case so I can see the difference in oil mist in the stator case, but I have not had time to refit a stock stator as I am running my rewound stator and have a very short riding season here.I will try to get this setup running and due some static testing after the snow drives me off the roads but I will need someone down south to run a long term test. I am also looking into other oil feeds as per my other posts. We will solve this but long term testing takes time, money and miles but with a stock 09, 2 08,s and a rewound stator to play with all I need is test time.

Phil - for the extra oil line, are you talking the metal cup with o-ring and snap ring behind the stator cover puck? I posted an idea yesterday at the end of the thread below - wondered if anybody had tried that yet. I don't have the stator problem so haven't seen the guts of the cover/stator/rotor first hand.

Same idea, tapped into oil return line from cooler. Plastic oil line glued inside cover(just in case it gets clipped by rotor)drilled small hole into back of crank support bushing.NOTE I am not running this setup,I have only mocked it up,test fitted it and confirmed oil flow into new line as of this time.
