Well, riding for ten years now and never dropped a bike before, but have a driveway that sits at a 45 degree incline and I dumped my CR. No real damage except for some rash on the pylon. Any recommended fixes? |

I'm guessing he switched out his pods for traffic pylons? LOL
Also, the pods are $59 brand new from harley, in case it can't be sanded and buffed. Note: price is off the top of my head and could be incorrect even though I bought two. This poster is not responsible for errors in pricing. (Message edited by beugs on September 14, 2011) |

From wiki- "Aircraft pylon, a vertical structure used to mount external equipment such as engines and weapons ("stores") externally on an aircraft" Sounds resonable enough to me. |

Pylon mounted weapons sound awesome. Red Jacket 1919 anyone? x2 please, but without the cheesy chrome and dragon. Seriously though - probably just your pod. Buff it out or get one new (not too $ new). check your puck on the side you dropped. Check out GSD (grandstanddesigns) if you need to replace one. GL! |

"Pylon" sounds like whatever that thingy is called. For the life of me, I can't remember what it's really called. |
