Erik Buell Racing is making the 1190 now. Web site says the RX, SX, and AX will be next. Any idea what they are? Thanks |

Unfortunately you gotta ask the right person. More unfortunately...while Froggy and I have asked the right person ourselves...we aren't the people to ask. When it's time to share...the right people will share. Till then (and I will presume to speak for Froggy here too because I know he's a good guy), we'll respect the wink-wink-nudge-nudge "don't tell anyone" that I know I got and I'm assuming he did too. It really sucks when someone is so excited they can't keep quiet about it...and it sucks even more when you respect their wishes about keeping it quiet. But in the end, its just not my place to speak. But it'll be worth the wait |

You could probably guess and get decently close, even without "actual" knowledge. For example, it's completely reasonable to think a production version of the RS and a naked version are in the works. |

I wonder if the AX will be a "big bike" like the Uly? Erik Buell Racing could do a fantastic job, a Uly with a Rotax without Harley "helping" could be a thing beyond total awsomeness. On the other hand, there is (IMHO) a huge hole for a "KLR-650 that doesn't suck". Nothing against the KLR-650, killer bike for the price and a great machine. But imagine one that wasn't a 20+ year old design. Light, agile, aggressive... but still something you could ride all day comfortably. I have no inside info, it's just fun to speculate. |

At R.A. I was told of at least two different models and their price points. Didn't seem to be much of a secret, but maybe it was?! |

ok ill spill the beans! i talked to the man himself and got detailed info on the upcoming models RX - leaning transforming sidecar with a sliding third wheel that can be placed in sidecar mode or along side the front wheel in a leaning tricycle configuration. automatically adjusting seating configuration for optimized mass centralization SX - a naked bike with clear translucent see through frame, wheels, and swingarm. fully adjustable maglev type forks, fuel stored in tentacle cells AX - self leveling adventure unicycle with fuel in the hub power by a pratt and whitney motor so ya, remember where you heard it first, folks |

I'd be all over an air-cooled Rotax twin incarnation of the Uly. Funny to see folks still refer to the Uly as a dual-sport or all-terrain. It's a road bike that is designed to handle all roads, not just the paved ones. |

My Buell already thinks it's a Unicycle in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. |

"a naked bike with clear translucent see through frame" So, no need for a low fuel light? The bike will be *snap* that much lighter. |

Jaime, The transparent aluminum has already been patented. We just have to send our lawyers forward 35 years to obtain the patent documents. Waiting for the transparent titanium so we can do the engine. |

"First, Erik and the Elves have to get that patent on Transparent Aluminum..." Why? How do we know he didn't invent the thing? Ah, a keyboard...how quaint. |

blake I refered to all-terrain for the '' AX '' as in All-X - see what I did there. I have also ridden the uly off road in abit of green laning - it coped quite well just as long as you keep the speed up. And out of the XB range I think the STT was the best buell came up with for that range |

Some more info: I talked to Jim Dorman(Buell Sales VP) a little via email. He said, and I quote "Look at us next year, We are launching the 1190RX Same power and torque but non-race components so she'll come in a tad under 20K and still do over 200mph." Haven't heard anything about the other models, but I have his email so I'll definitely keep yall updated when I hear somthing. }} |

Is there any word on a release date? It's a little late for a 2012 model at this point.... |
