Got the "System voltage error" yesterday while out on a ride.... <sigh> I guess it goes to Hals tomorrow afternoon. I wonder how much an extended warranty costs? |

If it costs more than an 08 set up your path is clear |

used to get the system voltage message all the time... replaced the stock VR with an FH0012A from fleabay for like $120 and now voltage stays between 13.8 and 14.2v all the time. Even in 100+ degrees ambient temps with both fans running at idle. It's an 09'R with about 6,000 miles, keda rt-3 and an Erik Buell Racing ECM. |

Hals has offered me an excellent deal on a 5 year extended warranty. I'm probably going to go with that. Having someone else fix my bike until 2016 is appealing. |
