So, I'm trying to install a hard bag mount on my 1125R. I've got the front assembly done, but for the rear I need a machine shop and/or welder. Problem is there doesn't seem to be one around here in Germany, or I just can't seem to find one. Sigh... | ||

So far none, even the auto shops don't have one. Well, the one that does have one says they can't do it. Grumble. | ||

a)Google shows shops in Saarbruken and Mannheim...look like big shops...there might be some smaller ones in the neighborhood to support the "big boys"... b) head south to the river - look for a marina...sailors always break stuff... good luck | ||

go to body shops, there are all kinds of welding tasks in a body shop. | ||

See if you can find any job openings for welders in your area. If you do then you will find companies that weld.  Not all companies advertise they weld as part of what they do. You can also just post up a wanted ad locally and maybe find a welding hobbyist that can help you. Good luck! | ||

Remind me again which part of Germany you're in? I have Bros in Germany at some of the Army Barracks and a clubhouse near Bruggen/Monchengladbach with welding gear etc.. I can ask the German contingent if they know anywhere "local" to you as I seem to recall it's about a 3-4 hour drive from you to 'Gladbach.. |
