First off let me start by saying thanks to the guys that emailed me w/ how to get a hold of the Service manual, very much appreciated guys!! So I pulled the clutch cover off, detent was not messed up like I thought would be, BUT, I found to nuts with broken off studs or bolts in them. I looked all inside the case and couldnt locate anwhere where they could have come from. The shifter now goes into 1st and 2nd and stays locked in like it should. Sure would like to know where these guys significant others are tho, looks like they had a rough split

Just looked at the parts explosion for the primary drive and basket assembly. Looks like it's likely getting held on by 1 of 3 bolts right now...fun. Looks like I'm pickinup up crank and clutch hub holding tools tomorrow morning...

Good call on the nuts.
Looking at the clutch blow-up those are the only nuts that size...
