did my first 'proper' track day today at silverstone, vid looks quite slow but still hitting 140 at the end of the hangar straight, 3.6 mile,3min lap, moto gp do it in 2 min, f1 cars do it in 1min 30 ish had a great day, vid is not the best quality, only buell there, but definately not the slowest thing out there, overtook plenty of dukes
i was running my 'quieter' exhaust for the track day, they have sound meters around the track and the drive by is 102db, so i could possibly get away with my usual can with a baffle in, but didn't want to risk it, if your bike breaks the drive by meter it takes a pic so they know which bike it is and you go home, no messing, just home
looks like a lot nicer facility than the one i've been learning at. if that was a gopro, pick up the suction cup mount and stick it right on the front of the windscreen. much better video. i did a session with it stuck to the radiator cover, one from the tail section, one from the windscreen of my cr. that camera is unbelievable!!
silverstone is a great facility, as you would expect from a moto gp/f1 venue, and its only 20 mins from my house, the camera is just a bog standard samsung camcorder, i'm looking at go pro/drift cams
if anyone in the UK is interested I am doing my second track day with the 1125R at Ty Croes on Friday Sept 16th, come along and share the faith (Buells that is not religion)

track day at Ty Croes is now saturday Sept 17th due to " a lack of participants"
Would have liked to have been on the track with just my brother on his R1
I am wondering if I should remove the stator wiring mod since the engine now spends 100% of its time on trackdays, can't trust its reliability for road use
