So, I have a 2009 1125r with a Drummer and a Buell Race ECM, plus all the stock parts. It's got about 3000 miles on it, it's been garage kept the entire time. What do you think I can get, ballpark? Also, I'm currently in California, and I've been told it's unregisterable here because of the mileage. Is there a workaround, or do I need to try to find a buyer out of state? |

The mileage thing has to do with getting a 49 state bike into Cali, being that the bike is Cali spec from the factory that is non issue. |

unless the bike is currently registered out of state. Then youre unless you can get it registered to yourself |

Yeah, it's registered out of state. I guess I could always just put another 5kish miles on it to make sure it's over 7500 and try to register it here. |

look on ebay for an ecm-IC combo on a wrecked bike, make sure it has >7500 miles, then swap it out and register the bike. Then you can resell the ic and ecm on ebay. |

He still has the physical VIN on the frame... |

I never knew that the VIN number on the frame tells you how many ACTUAL miles the bike has..... |

Yeah, to the casual observer I guess it would work. There is no display of the VIN even in Diag Mode, just when you hook up to Digital Tech. Not sure if DMV would dig that deep tho. Z |

Some guy was selling a really busted up one for $4k, and someone just listed a brand new one for $7k. Probably in that range. |
