so, first time cleaning the bike on my new Pitbull stands (correct for 1125R).......

and it falls!

Good thing I had the kickstand down, I think that caught things. The front stand slowed things down, but didn't stop it

I didn't have the rear swing arm in deep enough, lesson learned. Guess it's not fool proof, since this fool almost dumped his bike

I've dumped mine off the stands. I didn't have the front one on correctly, apparently. I just finished putting the forks back in, after servicing them, and the stand collapses. lol. Oops.

Awesome! I'm glad I'm not the only one! My '08 1125R fell off my rear pitbull stand while putting in the revised clutch seals. I did not have the swingarm on the pins correctly. There was a box end wrench on my bleeder valve. It damaged the bleeder valve. I had to buy a new clutch cover. Ugh. Luckily, I had my lower bodywork off the bike. It was just a simple tip over, but it broke my fairing stay, my brake lever, and my clutch cover. It was an expensive lesson!

By the way, the pitbull for the 1125's with no spools has three pins on each side of the swingarm. You need to make sure you have two pins UNDER the swingarm on each side. The third pin goes against the back end of the swingarm. It will pick up the bike with one pin under, and two behind, but you are asking for a tip over. This is what happened to me. I really keep an eye on it now.

The Pitbull stand for the '08 1125R is very stable if you put it on right.
